Stony Brook University (SBU), The State University of New York,is a world renowned university with students from more than 100 countries. Their biochemistry, biology, computer science, economics, electronics, engineering & science, English, geology, history, mathematics, nursery, music, physics and psychology are in the top list of the country.
石溪大學將於2014年7月7~27日舉辦為期三週的國際高中學生夏令營；學生們將親身體驗在這美麗的校園學習和生活，與世界一流的教授互動，接觸美國最先進的學術設施，並可獲得各大學承認的一個學分。週末休閒時間學生們將有機會遊覽參觀紐約、賓州、紐澤西等三州。三週內設置的課程和活動豐富多彩，夏令營以科學發展與展望為主線，融歷史，科學，文化於一體，讓學生們以親身體驗美國大學校園生活，聆聽著名教授的講座，以沉浸式地學習和提高英語。因此，這是一個多元的研習營，而不僅僅是一個學習英文的夏令營。
The International high school summer camp will be held from July 7 to 27, 2014. Participating students will have the opportunity to interact with the prestigious faculty of SUNY Stony Brook, work in one of America’s most advanced facilities, get one college credit, and visit New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey during weekends. As the program is so diversified the summer camp is a lot more than for-English-study-only.
整個夏令營的學習和活動內容多樣，除有英文優化學習外，涉獵各個學科的研討活動及講座供學生們挑選，如商業、電腦科學、工程、健康科學、海洋科學、美國文化及藝術的欣賞、甚至哲學和音樂都會涉及。此外還有領導能力栽培，以及富啟發性的小型研究專案等活動。營期結束時，考核通過者可獲得美國大學認可的一學分。
日常活動包含課堂教學，戶外教學，及社區服務(發給證明)。週末安排參觀遊覽紐約，賓州及紐澤西州等地的著名景點，包括紐約及費城大都會地區、長島海邊旅遊勝地、聯合國總部、百老匯歌舞劇、博物館、布魯克海文國家實驗室或冷泉港實驗室等，十分精彩。
The activities are diversified including: intensive English courses,leadership, American culture, art, science, and independent study assigned by accredited institutions across the United States. Daily activities include classroom and outdoor education, field trips of NY, PA & NJ, visiting New York City, Philadelphia, Long Island seaside resort, the United Nations Headquarters, a Broadway musical, museums, Brookhaven National Laboratory or Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and community projects with a certificate.

This summer camp is well planned with excellent academic program and many field trips, particularly, the price is reasonable. Please register as soon as possible as there are only twenty places reserved for Taiwanese International students.
由於台灣學生在石溪大學表現優異，他們對台灣學生很有興趣。敝人小女正在本校就讀大三主攻生化，有感於學校對國際學生的重視及照顧，所以樂於協助石溪大學的夏令營活動。
The Taiwanese students at Stony Brook University perform outstandingly, and conversely, the university is very interested in Taiwanese students. My daughter is a junior studying biochemistry at SBU. As the school realizes the importance of international students in maintaining a diverse student body, we are happy to help SBU to recruit Taiwanese campers with their summer enrichment programs.

學費請繳新台幣169,500，台北紐約來回機票請自理。若需代辦機票，另收機票費用及代辦費新台幣1,000。沒有從台灣出發的隨行輔導員
可考慮中華航空直飛紐約甘迺迪機場 (JFK)：桃園機場8：00出發，甘迺迪機場當天13：10抵達；每週一、四、六由桃園機場出發
Please make the payment of NTD 169,500 for the tuition. The attendants are responsible for the round trip airfare between Taiwan & NYC. The handling charge is NTD 1,000 if we are asked to book the flight tickets. There will be no chaperon from Taiwan.
China Airlines direct flight from TPE (Taoyuan) to JFK is an option: Departure 8:00 from TPE, Arrival 13:10 of the same day at JFK; every Mon, Thu & Sat.
